Group Training in Tonawanda & Kenmore, Built From Your Own Program

Most group training puts everyone through the same workout and calls it personal. Ours doesn't. Every member starts with an individual assessment and their own program, then progresses into the group once they're ready.

Training clients from Tonawanda, Kenmore, Buffalo, Amherst & Grand Island since 2013.

What Makes Our Groups Different

Two Things You Won't Find in a Typical Group Class

01

Small Enough to Still Be Personal

This isn't a class of 30-plus people moving through the same cookie-cutter workout. Our groups stay small on purpose, so every member is still getting individual attention and real coaching, not just company.

02

Your Own Program, Before You Ever Join the Group

Every client starts with an assessment to find their actual starting level. From there, Chris builds a program specifically for you. As you progress, your program progresses with you, until you're ready to train effectively alongside other members.

There simply isn't another program like this in the area. We don't throw you into a cookie-cutter workout. We build you up, then progress you toward your goals, so you actually get there.

In Chris's Words

Two Different Starting Points. One Standard.

Doesn't it make sense that someone just getting started would have completely different needs than someone who's been training for ten years? At Fit House, that difference is exactly why your program exists before you ever join the group.

Starting Point A

Brand New to Training

Assessment first. Program built around fundamentals, form, and the level your body is actually at today, not where a generic plan assumes you are.

Earn the Room
Starting Point B

Training for 10 Years

Assessment first, too. Program built to push against a much higher ceiling, with progressions and loads that match years of built-up capacity.

Different starting points, different programs, phased progress for both. Once your foundation is built, you train alongside the group and get out of it exactly what you put in.

Not sure which starting point is you? Let's find out together.

Group Training, Done Differently

Group Doesn't Have to Mean Cookie-Cutter

Here's the difference between the group training most people have tried, and the way it works at Fit House.

Typical Group Classes

  • Everyone follows the same workout on day one
  • New members and veterans do identical reps and loads
  • "Modified" usually just means left to figure it out alone
  • No assessment, no starting point, no individual plan
  • Progress stalls because the program never adjusts to you

Fit House Group Training

  • You start with a private assessment, not a class
  • Your first program is built for your level, alone
  • Coaching cues are individual, even inside the group
  • Your program progresses with you as you improve
  • You join the group once you can train in it effectively

Common Questions

Group Training FAQ

Is group training the same as a regular gym class?

No. A typical class puts everyone through the same choreographed workout regardless of experience or ability. At Fit House, you start with a private assessment and an individualized program. Group training is the environment you progress into once your foundation is built, not the starting point.

How many people are in a group?

Our groups stay small on purpose. Every member is still getting individualized attention and coaching cues in every session, not just moving through stations on their own.

I've never trained before. Can I start in group training?

Yes. That's exactly what the assessment and individualized starting program are for. You won't be dropped into a group workout you're not ready for. Your coach builds your program from wherever your body actually is right now.

Do you offer group training in Tonawanda and Kenmore?

Yes. Fit House is located at 3495 Delaware Ave, Kenmore, NY, and serves clients from Tonawanda, Kenmore, Buffalo, Amherst, Grand Island, and the greater WNY area.
