There are so many toxins in our environment, including ingredients in our foods, personal care products, and household products, that wreak havoc on your hormones, health, and general well-being.
If you’re going to feed your body well and train it to be healthy, shouldn’t you also pay more attention to the other things that are impacting your health? Why don’t we also think to eliminate toxins from our homes?
Because it’s easy to think this doesn’t affect you; Chris did that for years! We can see the impact of nutrition changes and strength training on our health. We get leaner, we feel stronger, we see more muscle definition. Those things don’t happen overnight, but the results we get are easy to attribute to the nutrition and training changes we make.
But eliminating toxins by changing your personal care and home care products feels overwhelming. Your hand soap, shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup, face care products, floor cleaner, household cleaner, laundry soap—it’s all part of the toxins to which we are exposed every day.
And changing all of that feels like a lot. Plus, it’s hard to see the direct impact those products have on your body.
Why You Should Eliminate Toxins From Your Home
We’ve seen our clients eliminate their toxic products, and we have seen the results. They start losing body fat from those stubborn places that never seemed to get any leaner. They see differences in their menstrual cycles and other hormone-related conditions. And it applies to men, too, whose testosterone levels and overall health are just as affected by toxins as women’s estrogen levels and overall health.
We know, however, that changing EVERYTHING you use is hard. So Gina has a suggestion:
Ditch and switch.
When you run out of something, replace that product with something better.
