And Here We Are: The Future of Fit House

Your story starts now. Get started with Fit House Today!

One of my worst nightmares has come true, and so has yours. One of my worst nightmares would be losing my livelihood because the gym has been shut down for six monthsโ€”check! Iโ€™m sure one of your worst nightmares is losing hard-earned strength and muscle, gaining fat, and saying sayonara to the results that took you many years to earn. And here we areโ€”so what do we do now?

My checkbox is filled with Fit House reopening on September 14th! Yes, things are going to be different; the entire world has changed. What will not be different is the top-notch training, the accountability, the fun and encouraging environment, and my never-ending commitment to you.

What is your checkbox filled with? Iโ€™ve noticed three types of mindsets of late, so letโ€™s cruise through them and look at potential solutions.

1๏ธโƒฃ The motivated:

There will always be people who prioritize their health, strength, and body composition (the way you look). The current global situation is unprecedented; however, this camp of people is not deterred. Although I have yet to meet one person who does not have some catching up to do from where we left off in March, these patriots are ready and raring to go. Additionally, they recognize the importance of having a healthier body during a time when a virus is preying upon those whose bodies do not represent the paragon of health.

This group can fill their checkbox with Fit House reopening on September 14th. We are going to recapture their previous successes and then move forward into newfound victories and an umbrella of health.

2๏ธโƒฃThe motivated but scared:

In general, people do not like change; this year, everything has changed. There are some people who are at mental max capacity right now and who shut down at the prospect of even adding one more thing to their plateโ€”no matter how beneficial that thing may be. There are parents who are still in limbo, waiting to figure out their childrenโ€™s school schedule. There are yet others who just refuse or canโ€™t work out in a mask. To you, I say:

I will be here for you when youโ€™re ready. Weโ€™re not going anywhere. If you want to get started back up on a limited schedule, or you need some time to get situated in a new life schedule, just let us know. With only limited availability, I want to make sure that all my clients are taken care of.

I will meet you at your level of participation. If you still care and youโ€™re just scared about coming indoors, I am going to be starting an at-home Zoom training program. The reason I did not offer a Zoom program over the past six months is because I didnโ€™t want to send the wrong message that you can get or stay in shape with a pair of dumbbells in your basement or living room. Full disclosureโ€”a person cannot get in even semi-optimal shape in his basement with a pair of dumbbells and a slam ball. I couldnโ€™t do it, and I am physically light years ahead of mostโ€”they donโ€™t stand a chance.

A lot of people have fallen off track. The Zoom program is going to be a preparation program for those people who have the expectation of one day getting back in the gym. This program will focus on strengthening your ligaments, tendons, and muscles as well as getting your heart rate up and starting to get your body back in shape for your eventual return to the gym. Itโ€™s going to be specific, topical, and on-point to this goal. To be effective, I really had to dig deep in my bag of tricks to include a wide assortment of specialty methods and techniques so you can actually start to move forward and youโ€™re not just spinning your wheels to a worn out exercise DVD.

3๏ธโƒฃThe quitters:

There are some people who will quit. Lots of people have lost muscle, lost strength, and put on fat, but those people can turn all of that around. The only people who canโ€™t are people who quit. Even if youโ€™re not ready to return to the gym now, fill your check box with coming back later. I never want to see you quit; I like you too much for that.

So what category are you? Donโ€™t let me know publiclyโ€”reach out and text someone! ๐Ÿ˜€
