You can keep the beans separate in this recipe to help with macro counting. Try adding them after cooking, or even try adding some wild rice!
Ingredients:
3 lbs ground bison
1 can fire-roasted tomatoes
2 green peppers, chopped
2 cooking onions, chopped
3 tbsp minced garlic
6 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
Dash of cayenne pepper
Dash of salt and pepper
2 cans black beans
1 can pinto beans
Put the raw bison in crockpot and break it up a bit. Put all other ingredients on top of the bison.
Cook on high for four hours.
