What should you eat?
And what do Chris and Gina eat?
Do they eat the same way?
Surprise—they don’t!
In this episode, Chris and Gina discuss the differences between their nutrition approaches, what they have found works best for them, and the difference in their habits. Chris says he’s a nutrition “robot;” he can eat the same things again and again, and his primary concern is what will work for his goals. Gina gets creative, and she needs more variety in her food choices.
Where do they agree?
First, they agree on the question of how much cooking for yourself matters in your results. Restaurant foods just aren’t a healthy option, and there are very few people who can eat out every week and stay lean. It isn’t even just a matter of excess calories; listen to hear what else is
Second, they agree on the idea that everyone needs to do more than simply “eat everything in moderation” or “just eat healthy.” For each of them, their personal approach to nutrition has evolved over time as they have learned more, tested more new approaches, and found the nutrition that is right for them.
Listen as Chris and Gina talk about their own approach, the new knowledge they’ve acquired about nutrition and why we eat the way we do, and how they approach their own nutrition and their client’s nutrition.
